Just wanted to thank everyone that lifts up Pardoned By Christ Ministries in prayer. Lord Jesus just keeps advancing His kingdom for His glory!!! Last week at Samarcand, the girls were ministered to with much prayer and hugs. There were testimonies of answered prayer from the previous month. Layers of bondage continue to disappear. We form relationships with the girls and they begin to trust and share their lives. Praise the Lord! Crocheted crosses were given to each girl and candy as always:) A great time of fellowship during the travel was had by all ministers!:) Last night we had ice cream time at Wake Correctional with about 100 guys. There was worship and Word spoken as seeds of the Gospel were sown. A gentleman returned to Jesus after falling away for 10 years. Jamie sang with the worship team after being save only a couple of months ago. Dontrell took pride in giving out crocheted crosses to the men. This was his first public act of service for the Lord since being saved a couple of weeks ago. Many new faces were in the crowd and at our tables. New opportunities for the Lord’s blessing!! Can you say exciting!! Oh, and we provided 10 gallons of ice cream:) Today we were at Sampson County Dentention. Life skills, testimony, and Word was shared with about 40-50 men. Half way through sharing, the Lord really manifested His presence. On inmate came up and rededicated his life to the Lord. Then an inmate began to sing and all joined in for awesome, sensitive worship. There was a word that we should pray for the overwhelming circumstances these men are facing, as all are awaiting trial. We laid hands on them and prayed. You could here a pin drop as the Presence enveloped us. Jason prayed to receive Christ as his savior. A mighty refreshing took place. Friday night we are back at Wake Correctional for bible study and discipleship. Saturday, new volunteer training takes place. Sunday we are at Siler City (Chatham Youth Development-girls). And back at Wake Correctional Monday night. Several men are taking out inmates on community leave passes this weekend. They take them out to dinner and church. Shortly and Lord willing, we will be providing furniture and household items from our storage facility in Raleigh, for a lady that starting her life over after incarceration. There is an ex-offender that is hopefully soon to be placed in a boarding house….we put up the first $200 rent to get him started. We are seeking the Lord about grant funding. Most foundations I called today are not providing as of now due to the economy. Please pray for our funding. I may start to reach out to area churches. The Lord’s wants to do so much more:) We have also grown to the point that we need an administrator. Please visit our website www.pardonedbychrist.org.
