Hey guys, just wanted to say that last night rocked !!! Very rarely do you see the Holy Spirit *TRULY* take control of a meeting. My personal conviction is that church was never meant to be a group of passive listeners sitting quietly while someone monologues. Christ dwells in his fullness in *HIS BODY*, not in an individual. I think last night was a wonderful demonstration of God working his gifts through different members of his body in a total spirit of unity. There were no denominations in the house last night, just a group of men gathering around a person, the person of Christ. He truly was the Head last night ! Churches all across America could take a lesson from what happened last night !

Monday night was a nice discussion. We spoke about serving 2 masters from Matthew 6 and how the context of Jesus statement about no man serving 2 masters is Jesus revealing a heavenly Father to us who values us and Loves us greatly ! We spoke about knowing the height and breadth and depth of Gods love that passes knowledge and how only after that will we be filled with the fullness of God.  It was an good discussion, not much response from the guys but it seemed like their wheels were spinning.  Many of the guys I have spoke to were introduced to church but not to the Living Christ.  Keep praying for Curtis, he has been visiting my table on Monday nights and Mike Shanks on Friday nights, he has (as far as we know) not made a choice for Christ but his heart is being drawn.

Just thought I would provide an update at what’s going on at my table. First off, the worship we had was wonderful, I felt a strong sense of people coming together in unity before our Lord !!

It is awesome to see the pure message of the Cross do it’s work in someones life. Last night we spoke on the topic of righteousness, what kind of righteousness do we need to be accepted by God? We spoke about the reality that it is His Righteousness and His Righteousness alone that is imputed to us that makes one accepted in the beloved, we spoke about this imputed righteousness being the basis for all of our approach to the Father and that as Children of God we are as righteous before him as Jesus was because it was his very righteousness that we possess.

I see so many at my table that were brought up in a religious ideology that prevents them from feeling accepted by our Father with the result being a constant sense of unworthiness based on an religious introspection and most likely their own past. I can see after weeks of the application of the truth of Christ and him crucified that the message is getting into the hearts of some and they are getting free right in front of my eyes, you can see a rest settling in on their hearts knowing that as children of God the work of Christ has made them fully accepted in the beloved. I am sure that many of these men have never felt accepted at all.

Jeff here, great night of ministry last night. There has been a young man visiting our table for  a few weeks now who has not made a decision for Christ yet but he is clearly being drawn by the Father.  The last time we got together with him he confessed to a-lot of unforgiveness in his heart towards his father. The whole table took time to minister to him about his need to first of all receive the forgiveness that is offered in Christ and he just sat there and soaked it in. It was wonderful to watch the Body operating as it should be truly ministering to one another in the spirit of humility and Love.

Last night he told me that after that night he found it in his heart to forgive his father, what an awesome testimony to the our Heavenly Father’s ability to work in someones heart ! This young man has had some very negative experiences in the past with Christianity, it is such a blessing to be able to show him from the life of Christ that God is not like he had envisioned.  What an awesome ministry of reconciliation we have the privledge to take part in. Please keep curtis and all the other brothers there in your constant prayers that their eyes would be opened to the riches of what Christ’s cross has provided.
